Gordon Yale has been actively managing, consulting, teaching, writing and speaking about financial fraud for 30 years. Mr. Yale has a national practice and has been engaged by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the states of Florida, Colorado and Hawaii on matters involving securities and financial reporting fraud, adequacy of due diligence and professional negligence. He has testified in federal, state and district courts as well as FINRA and other private arbitrations on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in many civil matters for both institutional and other clients.
Mr. Yale has written about various aspects of financial and accounting fraud for the American Bar Association Officer’s and Director’s Liability Law Journal, Financial Executives International, American Bankers, and the Journal for Credit Risk Management. His topics have included Enron, the politics of accounting for troubled debt restructurings and the folly of accounting for securitizations.
Mr. Yale received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado and his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Denver where he was an adjunct faculty member for five years.
